Challenge
Bloom Retirement Community, situated in Oshawa, has a contemporary interior design that’s different from the usual senior living designs. The building’s aesthetics necessitated subtle signage to complement the modern interior design.
Solution
To achieve a sense of unity throughout the residence, the Aroh design team collaborated with Van der King Design Group to create two distinctive sign designs for the project. Aroh’s designs were crafted to integrate into the building’s interior design. The team at Bloom Retirement Community faced the unique challenge of having service doors that opened toward busy areas. The goal was to incorporate these doors seamlessly into the broader design theme. Rising to the challenge, Aroh introduced elegant line illustrations of flora intricately cut from white vinyl, which adorned these doors, making them feel like an intrinsic part of the building’s design.
