Challenge
The retirement community operated under a different name at the time of the acquisition, resulting in the need for completely new Wayfinding that would also reflect the upscale nature the residence was taking on. Aroh’s access-to-completion timetable was restricted to just 30 days.
Solution
We worked closely with the new owners’ Interior Designer to develop a look that was truly reflective of the residence. We removed existing signage without damaging wallpaper that was being retained, as well as from walls that had to be repainted. We replaced outdated whiteboards with new Activity Boards and Elevator Boards. Using the flooring as inspiration to ground the signage, our design incorporated laser cut acrylic embedded in wood (yes, this was definitely a challenge!) to manufacture 300 new and replacement signage for 3 separate installations.
