Challenge
Home to the highest concentration of retirement residences in Canada, this area of BC is a premiere location for senior living. Amica White Rock – offering suites as well as condos on the upper three floors – opened in stages over a four-month period. We were tasked with managing these staggered deadlines remotely, in addition to being on site for each of the installations (five in total) as unobtrusively as possible.
The building itself is beautifully designed and the decor classic, which meant Amica’s wayfinding needed to complement the elegance of the residence – refined yet simple.
Solution
The clean and classic look was achieved by laser engraving with gold infill inside the black framing on all signage. Installation was completed on weekends when there were fewer trades on site so as not to disrupt the residents already living in the residence.
Aroh also developed a sign system to mitigate parking issues with visitors in a shared parking garage with the Medical Centre adjacent to the residence.
