Challenge
This resort-like residence is very strong architecturally with a clean, modern interior. All the materials – tile, marble, artwork, windows – were imported from Italy. Specific areas throughout required branding in order to elevate them to become “destinations” with unique identities and personalities.
Solution
We created a series of individual branded signs for each of the destinations, some of which are on glass; namely, Cafe Roma, the Health Spa, Mama Mia’s Italian Kitchen, Lina’s and Vittorio Ristorante. The Station Bistro was rebranded to Howie’s Bar at Sorrento, with a free-hanging sign. The reception area displaying the residence name – Sorrento Retirement Residence – was backlit on the wall for professional effect and at the same time embracing a very welcoming ambiance.
